PHOTOSHOP CLONE PROJECT

GUIDELINES
You will need to pair up for this project; using a camera I lend you (or your own if available), capture at least five images of yourself in various poses (not just standing straight up!). It would not hurt to take a few extra shots, just in case.
If you have images of yourself already saved somewhere that you can use for this project then you may use those too.
You are then going to select yourself out of the photographs you take with your partner and “super impose” them into one of the three (your choice) photographs of the classroom. Classroom photos can be found below.

  1. Have your partner take a minimum of FIVE photos of you (I’d take a few extras).
  2. Copy the photos to your computer.
  3. One at a time, open your images and begin to select yourself out of the photo using whatever selection process is most effective (Magic wand, Quick Selection, Lasso tool, etc) and begin placing your “clones” into the classroom photo you choose.
  4. If you notice any problems with the photos (especially colors if you didn't use a flash, the grain of the image, or depending on the distance the subject from the lens, you might need to modify the Hue/Saturation, Color Levels, or Brightness/Contrast on a specific layer to better match (Ctrl+U).
  5. Add your name in a “cool” text (use bevel, drop shadow, etc.) to make your name POP.
  6. Save your image as a JPG and upload your final product to your wiki on a page of it's own.
Your final product will be graded based upon:
5+ Photos Used
Quality of Selections
Creative Use of Fonts/Effects
Creativity of Poses
Overall Image (realism)
Source Photos saved in folder

Final product a jpg or png and turned in on Edmodo
